“I walk the mindful journey home”
Five Strengths: Empathy, Adaptability, Developer, Responsibility, Communication
Nastya is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado who received her Master of Arts degree from Adams State University. With a background in education and a deep compassion for helping others, Nastya brings valuable experience into her work with adolescents and adults who may be navigating challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, eating disorders, and body image concerns.
Nastya meets each client with authenticity, respect, warmth, and empathy. Her approach is trauma-informed and rooted in person-centered therapy. She believes that you know yourself best and have the inner resources to make meaningful changes in your life. She alters her approach to cater to your specific needs and strengths and guides you at your own pace and comfort level. Nastya tends to use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and feminist therapy—especially when supporting individuals impacted by abuse, trauma, or societal pressures.
Nastya supports individuals’ healing journeys by facilitating a safe and non-judgmental space in which they can understand more about who they are, what they value most, and learn how to overcome challenges.
When she’s not in session, Nastya enjoys hiking Colorado’s Rainbow Trail with her two dogs and cat, practicing yoga, baking, gardening, and getting lost in a good mystery book.
